I have clear childhood memories of the peace and safety I felt in nature. In my school playground there was a weeping willow tree that had leaves that touched the ground all around its trunk – creating a secret “cave” inside its walls of foliage. This was my favorite spot to go at recess. It felt safe, sacred, and secret – my own personal cocoon. This mixed media collage honors this feeling of shelter and security found in the loving arms of a tree. It depicts two children huddled together under the bows of a pine tree with the sentiment, “Nature speaks in quiet languages deep within our knowing.”

Greeting Card Details:
This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 80 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
