Who among us has not made or received a mud pie? What a gift! I remember spending hours as a child making mud cakes, sand pies, stone soup, stick/pinecone “popsicles,” leaf potions, and so much more. Endless hours of imaginative play baking away all kinds of delicacies for my friends and family - the recipients tired, yet grateful for each and every one of them. This piece is an homage to mud pies and the love that goes into them. It depicts a child gleefully presenting a mud pie with stick candles to the viewer. It is a simple reminder to us to allow ourselves to find our inner child and feel the deep gratitude for the joy of creative play. Words incorporated into this piece say, “A grateful heart sees many blessings.”

This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 80 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
