This mixed media collage is part of a honeybee collection completed in 2023 inspired of my latest hobby – beekeeping! Bees remind us that we all have an internal compass that can guide us back home to ourselves. How do they remember where their hive is? Well, bees use a combination of the sun, their memory of their surroundings, and a gene called Egr to reliably find their way home multiple times a day. It’s an impressive accomplishment for such a tiny creature. The sentiment included in this piece says, “Just come back home – again and again.” Practice makes perfect…

Greeting Card Details:
This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 80 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
