Artwork Details:
Children have close ties to the natural world. I believe this is because they are closer to their origins having just come into this world. They still remember they are of the earth. They see no barriers between themselves and other animals. And it is clear that many animals sense their inhibition. They seem to recognize that this is a “young one” and their energy is not yet tainted; they pose little risk. This collage honors this connection among children and the natural world by depicting a child drawing with a crow. It is a simple reminder to us to find our inner child and feel the deep understanding and kinship of the wild. Words incorporated into this piece include, “friendship,” and “I am understood.”

Greeting Card Details:
This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 80 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
