Confluence - Greeting Card - Blank Inside

Artwork Details:
A confluence is when two or more flowing bodies of water joined together to form a single channel. This is usually where a tributary joins a larger river, where two rivers join to create a third or, where two separated channels of a river, having formed an island, rejoin downstream. Confluences are important because they regulate the flow, sedimentation, and stability of the waterway. They are also known to have a significant impact on the biodiversity of a river network. This collage depicts the beauty of many confluences and braided river channels as seen from above. This is the June image found in my 2025 wall calendar. Although it works as a stand-alone image, each design in this collection was created to tell part of a story of how the water on our planet connects us all. This piece incorporates hidden words like, “confluence,” “moving toward,” and “whispered.”

Greeting Card Details:
This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 80 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
