We are fundamentally ecological beings.  We are of the earth and deeply connected to that which sustains us.  At a fundamental level, we are deeply connected to the earth, to soil - and specifically to humus.  In Latin, the word humanus means human, and humus means ground. This relationship between the concepts of “man” and “ground,” is fascinating.  Humus is teeming with life. And humus is the part of the land that sustains life. This collage explores this relationship between humans and humus - with feet grounded in the soil - our roots in this most fundamental source of life.  

Greeting Card Details:
This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 100 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
