This collage is part of a collection entitled "Small but Mighty" which features tiny creatures with extraordinary strengths. This image features a monarch butterfly which have incredible intuitive wisdom.
Scientists aren't sure how migrating monarchs know which way to go, since they only live a few months and none makes the journey more than once. Yet they successfully make 2500 mile voyage from the Great Lakes in Canada to the warm Central Mexican Oyamel fir forests in the Michoacan hills trusting this inner compass. Many words are tucked into the deeply layered body of the monarch itself, and are complemented by the stamped text, "I have everything I need." This collage is designed to remind us to trust our intuition - even when we feel uncertain of the voyage ahead.

This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 100 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
