Artwork Details:
There's something deeply satisfying about harvesting fruit by hand — the reach, the abundance, the quiet exchange between grower and tree. This piece obscures the picker's face on purpose, letting the cherries and gesture speak instead, with "reciprocity" and "enough" woven through the branches. Cherry trees can't pollinate themselves — they rely on us, bees, and the wind, and give sweetness in return. This piece is about the give-and-take at the heart of every harvest.
