8x10 Art Print - Sharp-Tailed Grouse - Mixed Media Collage

Artwork Details:
Sharp-tailed grouse are tubby, chicken-like birds with small heads, small bills, short legs, and medium-long, graduated (pointed) tails. Not exactly sexy, but super interesting. The males have impressive courtship dances in the spring. Some Native American tribes have incorporated elements of the birds’ courtship displays into their traditional dances. This mixed media collage depicts a sharp-tailed grouse pair hunting for insects and seeds in the grasslands with bison in the background. It is the November image found in my 2023 wall calendar. Although it works as a stand-alone image, each design in this collection was created to tell part of a story of connection by following a yellow stone as it is touched by the flora and fauna of Yellowstone National Park. Each image also includes a Native American word for this animal. This image includes the words, “Sharp-tailed grouse live mostly in the open grasslands.”

Print Details:
Size: 8x10 print of my original mixed media collage artwork described above.
Printed on high quality, 100 lb recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink.
Small white border for framing.
Watermark will not appear on your print.

Unless otherwise requested, orders are shipped First Class via USPS.

8x10 prints will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve with backing board, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.
