Do your kids love getting messy, making art, and exploring nature?  If so, this is the art camp for your 5-10 year old!  Nature Art Camp is led by me (Jordan Kim) and early childhood specialist Anna Diem.  During our week together we’ll spend each day focused on different aspects of the natural world.  Together we’ll explore the subject through hands-on science experiments, field exploration, and artistic expression.  Campers will create loads of artwork, collaborative projects, new friendships, and so much more!  Each art project will tie back into our connection to the natural world and each other.  Join us for a week of letting our imaginations play together!

Student Artwork

Your Instructor

Jordan Kim

Jordan Kim

Hi!  I’m Jordan Kim and if you choose to take a Found & Rewound class, I will be your instructor. My mission is to create art and experiences that inspire us to honor our connections to each other and the natural world.

I have a BS in biology and two minors – one in chemistry and one in studio art.  I also have a masters degree in Environmental Management.  Needless to say, I love to learn.  I worked as an ecologist for over 15 years while I built my art business on the side.

Art helps me reconnect to the rhythm of the natural world and stay grounded. I would love nothing more than to know that one of my classes or my art helped you feel more attuned to the abundance in your life too. My wish for you is a life filled with sweet simple moments, people you love and a connection to the natural world that supports us all. If guiding you through an experience where you get to reconnect to yourself and engage in some creativity can help make that wish come true – my work here is done.

You don’t have to take my word for it…

So much fun! I was quite reluctant to leave my first art prints but ultimately loved how freeing it was. Helped to foster more creativity and less attachment. Already excited about April!

-Jan P.

Jordan, it’s so fabulous that you are offering these opportunities for women to create, collaborate, laugh and share in community! I’ve participated in both of your art nights now, and I’m recognizing more of my own creative process and feeling more free to express!

-Anna D.

So. fun! Everyone had a really good time. Full value!! I love how accessible collage is, you could literally use anything and turn it into really fun colors, textures, art pieces. scrap mail is more valuable to me now… 🙂 Even just seeing how to make those prints- you don’t need to be really skilled to create very cool patterns and colors. I think everyone felt successful and in it together!

-Kris S.

Thanks so much!  Our kids certainly had a blast at nature Art Camp.  We really appreciated getting the daily photos and emails summarizing their activities.  They are already asking if they can go back next year!

Thrilled parents!
