This mixed media collage is part of a collection of pieces honoring our connection with the land through our food.  Gardening is both a practical (growing food) and spiritual practice for me.   Every time I work in my garden, I feel like I am co-creating with the Earth. I am engaging in ancient practices, learning the language through which the earth speaks and experiencing true reciprocity with the land.  It feeds my mind body and soul.   Words incorporated into this piece are: “fresh,” and “tomato.”
