Hood River, Oregon is known as a Mecca in the kiteboarding world. Cool air from the Pacific Ocean is sucked through the Columbia River Gorge to the hot, Eastern desert. These consistent summer winds make it one of the best places in the world for wind sports. This mixed media collage is a tribute to the beauty of this beautiful place and the elegance of watching a master of this sport dance with the wind. Words incorporated into this piece: “the connection between,” “Hood River,” “local hikes,” and “quality of life.”
All of my cards and prints are printed on high quality, 100% post-consumer recycled, white, matte cardstock with archival ink.
