Japanese White-Eye

Japanese White-Eye
This collage is the April image in my 2024 wall calendar focused on migratory birds of the world. The Warbling White-Eye (also known as the Japanese White-Eye) is native to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, eastern China, and northern Philippines. Migratory populations travel from these areas to spend winters in Burma, Hainan Island, and Vietnam. The White-Eye is rarely found on the ground. This collage includes the Shakespeare quote, “One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.”
