This collage is a part of a collection designed for my 2022 wall calendar.  Each collage in this calendar collection connects with the others through a flow of energy.  If the viewer looks carefully, the images fit together to tell a full-circle story of interwoven lives and connection between humans, the landscape, and its other inhabitants. Each piece also works as a stand-alone image.  This collage depicts a new oak seedling in the foreground with a person walking a dog along a nearby trail. Text incorporated into this piece include “I give thanks for the beauty of nature” and “takes root.”
