This collage is the June image in my 2024 wall calendar focused on migratory birds of the world.  The Dalmatian Pelican is among the biggest flying bird species on the planet, growing up to 1.8 meters in length with a wingspan of over 3.5 meters. The Dalmatian Pelican is a short-to-mid range migratory bird traveling from the British Isles to the Taiwan Strait or from Siberia to the Persian Gulf.  This collage includes the words “The wisest teachers show up when they are least expected.”
