Bar-Tailed Godwit

Bar-Tailed Godwit

This collage is the March image in my 2024 wall calendar focused on migratory birds of the world.  The Bar-Tailed Godwit holds the record for the longest non-stop migration, flying the 13,000 kilometers from Alaska to New Zealand every fall. These mighty birds then make the return trip every spring.  They do this epic, non-stop journey in just eight to ten days.  This collage includes the words “Influence,” “Fly,” and “Set sail.”
