This collage is a part of a collection designed for my 2021 wall calendar.  This calendar is unique in that each collage in the collection connects with the others in some way.  If the viewer looks carefully, the images fit together to tell a story of interwoven lives and connection between humans, the landscape, and its other inhabitants. Each piece also works as a stand-alone image.  This collage depicts a barn owl with a vole in its talons at sunset.  A barn and stalking barn cat are in the background adjacent to a strawberry field. The words, “crickets sing their evening chorus” and “truth” and incorporated into the piece.
