Nature Art Camp
*We are offering three weeks of camp in summer 2023: July 10-14, July 17-21 and July 24-28. The camps are all the same, so please sign your child(ren) up for just one week. Thank you!*
Do your kids love getting messy, making art, and exploring nature? If so, this is the art camp for your 5-10 year old! Nature Art Camp will run from 8:30am to 2:00pm, M-F, and is led by professional mixed media artist Jordan Kim and early childhood specialist Anna Diem. During our week together up in beautiful Parkdale, we’ll spend each day focused on different aspects of the natural world. Together we’ll explore the subject through hands-on science experiments, field exploration, and artistic expression. Campers will create loads of artwork, collaborative projects, new friendships, and so much more! Each art project will tie back into our connection to the natural world and each other. Join us for a week of letting our imaginations play together!
We are offering reduced rates for sibling campers again this year ($50 discount for siblings). Camp fee includes all necessary supplies. To eliminate food sharing, campers are asked to bring their own snacks and lunches.

Your Instructor

Jordan Kim
Hi! I’m Jordan Kim and if you choose to take a Found & Rewound class, I will be your instructor. I do not have a teaching degree, but I do have a lot of experience educating the public.
What are my credentials? Well, I have a BS in biology and two minors – one in chemistry and one in studio art. I also have a masters degree in Environmental Management. Needless to say, I love to learn. And I like to share this love of learning with others.
Like many, my path has been a winding one. I worked as an ecologist for over 15 years. In this career path, I often taught the public about how best to manage their land so as to minimize imacts on natural resources. I love sharing my love and fascination with the natural world.
Now I have the absolute joy of creating classes that combine these loves with my passion for the arts and creativity. I hope to see you in class!
